THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE AND POWER OF KNOWLEDGE (1)

    The greatest enemy of mankind is not the devil. It's not even witches and wizards. It's IGNORANCE.

 
   It has led to the defeat and shameful death of many great men and women. It has caused the liquidation of many organisations, destruction of many ancient cities and the downfall of many nations.

It is the architect of most sicknesses in the world and untimely death of so many people. It creates fear of the unknown in those who want to take risks and force them to be afraid of taking such decisions.

It has destroyed great destiny and made it difficult for a lot of people with bright future to either be reluctant to venture into new businesses and careers.

   Lack of knowledge has created great fear of the unknown, and prevented many people from going to new places and chartering uncharted territories where their stars can do great exploit.

A lot of marriages have failed as a result of marital ignorance. Divorce and separations have denied many children their rights to enjoy parental cares, due to ignorance of how to make marriage work and build a happy and successful family by either of, or both the parents.

A lot of governments of nations have failed as a result of the collective ignorance of those leading them in embracing new challenges.

The highest sold book in the world, Holy Bible, states in Proverbs 19: 2 , "Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good..."

The havoc which ignorance have wreaked and could cause are clearly stated in the Holy Bible: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..." Hosea 4:6

The greatest thing Satan uses to manipulate, deceive and defeat mankind is ignorance.

This is the reason Holy Scripture instructs people to get  knowledge and understanding.

   Knowledge brings clarity and understanding. It enables one to do what might have seemed to be impossible.
  Knowledge brings peace of mind and helps one to plan well and work better.
 
   In this Age of Information Revolution and Knowledge Economy, data are being released to the public daily, bringing in new knowledge via learning, researching and creation of thoughts and ideas, bringing in new discoveries in every area of human endeavours.

   One therefore has to keep learning daily in order to be relevant daily.
