20 Most Interesting Things That Happened At The COLLECTIVES’ 3rd Royal Banquet Held In Honour of Akarigbo

The Palace of the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, in Sagamu, Ogun State, was agog on Sunday when a foremost club, The Collectives, organised its 3rd Royal Banquet in honour of His Majesty ,Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi.
The Palace Hall was filled with the crème de la crème of Remoland and other guests who assembled there on strict invitations.
The club started the Royal banquet series in the night of December 7, 2017, after the coronation of the Akarigbo earlier that day, to give the monarch a befitting reception.

👉 Former Governor Gbenga Daniel was given a special assignment of presenting award plaques to the awardees.
👉🏾 Awards were presented to three distinguished Remo indigenes as part of the activities scheduled to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the club.
👉 Ex-Ambassador and Chairman of the African Newspapers of Nigeria, publisher of the Tribune titles, Dr Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu was the first award recipient who was honoured with Remo Citizen-for-the-Year Award.

Nigeria Industrial giant and former National Vice President of NACCIMA, Asiwaju S.K. Onafowokan was honoured with Remo Global Citizen-Of-The-Year Award.
👉🏾 A university don and an ICT expert, Prof Adewunmi Ogunbase of the University of Tampere, Finland, was also awarded Remo Distinguished Personality 2019.
👉
 Remo Obas left their seat to wine and dine in a temporary apartment within the hall and thereafter returned to their reserved seats because Monarchs don’t eat in public.
